The list below should help parents/carers decide what to order for children who take Emma Louise Dance Club classes. From September 2009 Emma Louise Dance Club has introduced a uniform for all pupils. Parents should follow the guidelines below to ensure children are appropriately dressed for dance class.

Rules for All Pupils

Long hair must be tied up & back from children's faces.

Jewellery e.g. big earrings, bracelets, watches and rings should never be worn in class as the can cause injury to the wearer and/or other children, (only small stud earrings are allowed to be worn in Emma Louise Dance Club classes).

Please ensure children wear the appropriate footwear to avoid accident or injury.

It is recommended that children bring a fleece, jumper or cardigan to wear to keep warm on cold days. (Emma Louise Dance Club fleeces or zip hooded jackets are ideal).
New Pupils
For the first few lessons children should wear comfortable clothes they can easily move in and will not restrict their movement e.g. t-shirt & tracksuit bottoms or leggings. Skirts are not recommended as they restrict movement. Children should wear indoor trainers or pumps for Dance Jam Classes or bare feet or socks for Lafour Prima Dance 3&4 or Beginners Ballet. Once you are happy your child will continue with the classes you can order items from the list above. If you are not sure what to order first it is recommended that you buy dance shoes as the correct footwear is essential for dance classes.
